I tried inserting an action buttton with an action on Notes mail document using C API (CDBUTTON and CDHOTSOPT) , but when I open the same doc in iNotes, the button is not visible. I also tried to manually create button via notes client, but still it does not shows up in iNotes.

Is there any setting that needs to be done.How can I show a button in iNotes created using C API.
