The LS is a different module. The system runs the LS at night to set record sets (docs and responses) to 'expired' if a scheduled calibration (one of the response docs) is past due. I'm forcing the LS agent to run in real time so I can test different scenarios. The problem with the @Function code happens only if I force the LS to run (so I can test how my Function code handles docs set to expired) and DON'T exit and reopen (or <ctrl><f9> the views) prior to running the Function code.
Why not re-write? I'm lazy and the function code works for real users. If we discover that this weird 'can't find a doc by its valid UNID' keeps happening, I'll probably take a whack at rewriting the function code in LS.
