Subject: Notes URL and form formula

Release: 8.5.2
Reproducible: Always

I found this thread in in the Notes 6 & 7 forum pertaining to Notes URL's and the form formula for a view being applied in a Notes URL (http://www-10.lotus.com/ldd/nd6forum.nsf/55c38d716d632d9b8525689b005ba1c0/53065f9a719dd9108525771c00829651?OpenDocument). However, in 8.5.2 this no longer appears to be working. That is, even if you use the UNID of the view in your link, the form formula specified in the view is not used.

My notes url would appear as follows:
Notes://server/85257837007864F2/8818F51C94A6537E852577D6005932DA/ED328CF6B6028CEC852577F3005B219D. The document is created and saved with FormOne. The form formula for the view is @if (form = "FormOne"; "FormTwo"; form). When a user clicks on this link the document is opened with FormOne. I shouldn't think it would matter, but the link is e-mail'd to an MS-Outlook user.

I have tested this by pasting the URL into IE address bar and can reproduce the same behavior.
