Subject: IMPORTING A WSDL INTO A LOTUSSCRIPT SCRIPT LIBRARY SHOULD BETTER HANDLE NAMED ELEMENTS THAT EXCEED 40 CHARACTERS
Feedback Type: Question
Product Area: Domino Designer on Eclipse (DDE)
Technical Area: Documentation
Platform: Windows
Release: 8.5.3
Reproducible: Always
In Notes 9, when importing a WDSL to consume another web service as type Lotusscript, I am getting the message about variable names being too long. I see this was an issue in Notes 8.0 that IBM declined to fix. Should I take it they aren't going to fix it in Notes 9, either?
(The WDSL is being auto generated for me by salesforce.com, so they ain't gonna shorten any variable names for lil ole me. And, the suggestion about doing it in Java ain't useful cause I don't know Java yet.)
