Windows 7 problem with 8.5.2

We have several machines with windows 7 and lotus 8.5.2 installed. These machines show a strange problem when the lotus client is running. If we close out of the lotus client, the problem disappears.

The problem is in the navigation pane of windows explorer. With the Notes Client running, if you open windows explorer, then click on anything in the navigation pane. For example, if you click libraries, then music. Once you click the music folder the navigation pane goes blank, and a second sort of malformed windows explorer instance launches with part of the navigation pane in it. It's as if the navigation pane jumps out of the instance of explorer it was running into another. The new instance has no dialog box around though and doesn't look normal.

Has anyone else seen such an issue ? We have it happening on all our win 7 machines with 8.5.2 installed.
