This can be done w/ BES 5.x

With current versions of BES it is possible to specify additional address books, whether they be PNABs or even a replica of the Domino Directory to be pushed to a device.

This must be enabled via the web-based BlackBerry Administration Service. You (or your BES admin) can see how to do it in the latest version of BES (5.0.3) by going to pg. 291 of the Administration Guide.

The section is titled "Specify public contact databases that users can access from their
BlackBerry devices"
