One of our Notes users had exactly the same issue recently. We are using Lotus Notes version 8.0.1 . I'm still not sure what the user did to cause this error, but the solution to this problem is – check the Database Script (in the Database Resources in Domino Designer).
This design element (Database Script ) is ‘Locked’ (though it shouldn’t be) and could have been updated/changed by the actual person who is experiencing this issue (at least that’s what happened in our case...)
What you need to do:
1. Unlock Database Script by de-selecting ‘Prohibit design refresh or replace to modify’ option;
2. Replace (or Refresh) the design of the mail file, using the Master Mail Template (this should overwrite the Database Script)
3. Check if the Database Script has been overwritten by the Master Mail Template
This should fix the issue!
