We've encountered some issues where multiple users from one site are experiencing a lot of slowness as soon as they switch to Windows 7. Very baffling as it's the same network and it only happens when the users get their new laptops. I was hoping to get some help from IBM support and here's what they came back with, we're still looking into it to see if we can fix the issue this way:
I suspect that this is due to a network setting in the OS on
the client. It would be best for them to ensure that the
Duplex parameters set on the OS match the ones on the switch.
Is the Domino server located locally to the user at the US
site?
Can you enabled the debug parameters on the clients:
client_clock=1
console_log_enabled=1
and then recreate the problem and then send in the resulting
console.log file from the IBM_Technical_Support directory.
If you could perform the tests on 8.5.2 FP2 Notes clients as
this is then the latest version.
