Subject: adding internet certificate to ID does not work
Feedback Type: Problem
Product Area: Notes Client
Technical Area: Security
Platform: Windows
Release: 8.5.3
Reproducible: Always

Hello,

I want to add a internet certificate (created by domino CA) to my ID file. I am doing this by opening the user security on my Notes client.

The client says "certificate successfuly added to ID"(something like that) and I can see the certificate being added to the list of internet certificates.

But when I reopen the list of internet certificates on my ID the certificate is gone and I can't use it.

I have already tried to run the Notes client as administrator (maybe Notes isn't allowed to write to the ID file) but it still vanishes after it has successfuly been added.

I also tried adding a certificate with the administrator-client (select person document => "action" => "import internet certificate").

Any idea what can cause this and how to resolve the issue?

The certificate is a PKCS12/.pfx file with a 12 letter password. It is the root certificate for our internet CA .

Kind regards,

Jan
