Primary problem has gone away... others still exist

Since deleting those log files, I have not experienced the initial problem again.
But as stated, using type-ahead in a notes help database (that opens in its own window) brings the focus back to the primary Notes client. I then have to alt-tab back to the help database window, where the type-ahead action did work. This is when opening the help db initially from the traditional client workspace icon, not using the HELP action in the menu bar, which opens a newer help interface. It used to be that when you go to HELP - HELP CONTENTS in Designer, that the Designer help db would open up... now it's opening a generic help interface that appears more ecliplse based, but using that index doesn't allow for type-ahead of @ character like the traditional notes designer help db does.
