No preferences to change that behavior

Unfortunately, there are no preference settings available to change that default behavior. I also would rather go back to the view instead of opening (and marking read) the next message. Shouldn't the user decide if/when they want to read a message?!

I've gotten in the habit of closing the message and then selecting/deleting from the Inbox instead.

Hopefully there will be a preference setting for this in a future release.
