Hello everybody,

on january 27, our domino server was updated to domino 8.5.3 fixpack 3. Since that update sometimes users report that attachments in mails sent to external recipients are corrupted.
All kinds of attachments are affected, office files (xls, doc) and pdf files. Users tell me they send it one time, and attachments are corrupted. They try a second time or even a third time, and attachments are not corrupted. My problem is i can't reproduce the error. In all my tests files are not corrupted. But i am not sure if the problem is solved. I think in future there will be users that tell me the problem still exists.

My questions are: Does anybody know that problem? Any suggestions to solve it? Which settings in domino affect coding/decoding attachments? Is there a new settings that came up with 8.5.3 fp3?

Its driving me crazy because i don't really know where to look at to solve the problem.
