I haven't tried it; the Powershell Add-ODBC-Dsn looks interesting.

I find Powershell arcane to read, good for 1-off fixes like this though.

I don't know how well it'd pass through driver-specific things like "read-only connection", but maybe it's got it there & I haven't noticed.

Love to know how it turns out. Mostly I've been in Oracle, which has involved carrying around the drivers. Not so much fun when it's a hundred servers!
