The Notes client help and Designer help have been rolled into one Eclipse help file. If you want to search Designer help only, look at the "Search scope" at the top of the window.
I suspend my system all the time with Notes running, and haven't noticed any keyboard problems. Might this have some other cause and just coincidentally started at the same time? Never saw it with 8.5.1, don't see it with 8.5.2 now, don't see any bug reports about it. If you can establish that it's Notes related, please contact Lotus Support.
As for your toolbar issues, please log a support call and refer to SPR SFIK84J3UJ. The more people report it, the more likely it is to be fixed.
Can't find a bug report about your $TableUpdate error -- it sounds more and more like there's something very unusual about your installation. Have you tried uninstalling Notes and reinstalling from scratch?
Designer is a bit slower than before, but we're working on that. Also, make sure you've allowed it to do this stuff in background, and do other things while you're waiting. Server databases are slower than local. Turning off build automatically might speed things up also.
