Not a developer but.....

The user can only SEND email when over quota - they cannot SEND and SAVE a copy. Invitations also fail when the user is over quota. If you can send without saving a copy using your script, you should be able to bypass the problem


But maybe the real solution is to write a script to archive some of the mail and get them under quota right?
