Hello Everyone,

The highly anticipated next release of Symantec Mail Security for Domino (8.0.5) will provide native support to Lotus Domino 8.5.0 and the upcoming 8.5.1 64-bit on Windows and AIX. It will allow for cross platform replication / management across AIX 5.3/6.1 and Windows 2003/2008 for 32 and 64 bit.

This release is on target for March 2010 GA.

Functionality is expected to be identical to the current SMS DOM 8.0 version. Customers can get a head start to their migration by setting up SMS DOM 8.0 in their test environment with the exact policies they want in place. They will be able to upgrade that environment to 8.0.5 and replicate those settings accross AIX and Windows to their production servers.

Linux, Solaris, and iSeries continue to be supported via SMS DOM 3.2.
