But you still have to type the entire address?

I was looking at this more as not having to type the whole address, more like the notes 8 client does the drop down selection as you type.

Once again Gmail is a great example on the iPhone. It seems to use ajax calls to do most things, not blazing fast over edge, but manageable.

I do understand though that this is version one and you are working on adding features in future releases.

I like the gmail mobile web interface so much i use it instead of the built in iPhone mail client.
