RE: Problem with special characters in Traveler 8.5.3

I assume you already saw the previously posted answer:

This is a Domino problem and you need to open a PMR to address this problem. The SPR SGOI8N9LT8 is associated with this problem.

There is a work-around in Lotus Notes Traveler by adding the following notes.ini parameter.
NTS_MIN_BUILD_NUM_CHANGED_DB=1000

Did you do those things and they not work?
