I managed to solve the issue. The Rich text field in the 'calendarprofile' profile document had been "contaminated" by a hidden table or something similar, causing the indentation. I used Ytria scanEZ to delete the 'Signature_Rich' field, and then when I re-imported a cleaned up version of the HTML signature, it looks as I want it to look.
