General config document

The servers will only look in the configuration document(s) that concern them, so if another server has settings for smart host, they won't see it.

I used to have a general configuration document, for all servers, so that anything applying to all server could be put in a single document. Another document specific to each server. In that scenario, you would put the smart host information in the general document. If you don't have that, you need to put it in each server's configuration document.
