I'm guessing that you're using a custom app, or mail file as a group calendar, correct?
If that's the case, you need to make sure that there is a mail file owner listed in the calendar preferences and that there is a valid Person Document, or mail-in document associated with the name in that field. This is necessary so that the Schedule Manager task can add the busytime data for the application into busytime.nsf (or clubusy.nsf if your server is in a cluster).
