Subject: Java, Citrix & Notes Client : does this work??? Expert Advice wanted
Feedback Type: Question
Product Area: Notes Client
Technical Area: Application Development
Platform: Windows
Release: 8.5.2
Reproducible: Always

Situation :
Create small Java-application that uses local calls to Notes client.

When trying to run as java-application :
Error : No nlsxbe in java.library.path

Ok, I add the path of the citrix Notes client installation : w:\ProgramFiles\Notes

When I run it now, it cannot open any Notes database on Local Computer or any server. It doesn't prompt me for the password of the user-id.

Further troubleshooting learns me when I call the DBDirectory of the local application, that I don't get the databases of my local Notes client (H:\notes\data), but instead the databases installed under the directory w:\ProgramFiles\Notes\Data where Notes was installed under Citrix.

Any ideas on how I can resolve this, or troubleshoot further??
