yeah...

I often wonder if all these disparate cross-browser security layers, vulnerabilities and styling differences are leading to a resurfacing of the local client. It's 5000% cheaper and efficient. I see mobile and local client (for secure in the office, vpn, etc) while I see diminishing returns for the middle-ground, browser interfaces.

I just wish we could figure out what makes the Hotspot Resource Link retain file:\\... while stuffing the same file:\\ string into @UrlOpen or <a href> converts it to file://...making it dependant on the browser.

I tried @replaces, everything, but once it's in the inline html, it does the slashes swap and i can't get a handle to it at that point.
