Update-001

nwiz.exe is not the problem.
The user is running Logitech unifying software so that was shut off - no joy.
Currently, IT is testing to see if Symantec's Mobile Backup system could be causing problems.

We've noticed that users with screaming fast systems, specifically 64 bit Win 7 with SDD's seem to have all kinds of weird stuff go on between Symantec and Notes; the two programs seem to be contending for files at the same time and one or both programs can hang. Our current suspicion is that, for this user, Symantec is starting up at some apparently random time of day, grabbing a handle on either Notes.ini or desktop8.dsk which throw Notes into a loop. We're going to debug this concept to see what happens. I probably won't have anything new to report until next week but I'll follow up with the results.
