Sort of...

Not really. We have had similar situations where somebody was leaving forever, but we wanted to get mail for a few months.

I set the return date a year out, and modified the 'alternate/custom response' field (I forget the field name) to not display the return date in the message.

Then of course had to remove the template name from the design so that updates didn't override the changes, and made a note on my calendar to disable the mailbox 6 months out.

Hope this helps.

Note to IBM: I can see this as a feature that folks would use occasionally, or at least a mail rule with the option to auto reply to sender. IE for 'no reply' type automated accounts.
