We've made a breakthrough in the issue. Swing has sent me a few debug-jar files in the past two days.

We have moved from losing the attachments entirely, to timing out on attachments b/c of an OS lock on the files, to getting the attachments as desired.

Now, I just need to wait and see if they can work this fix into another release so that I can show my business partners the proof of concept.
