Virtual Environment was the trick...

Thanks for the tips!

I ended up installing Domino Server 8.5.3, with the ID for the server which we were at least able to determine where the database had been encrypted. Strange thing was, because the server ID is in our existing domain, after registering a "Notes Admin" account, I was unable to use the ID, as it kept reporting that the certifier was different than in the Domino Directory.

I ended up copying my personal ID file to my test environment, ADDED myself into the Domino Directory (via NLNOTES.exe), then was finally able to connect and use Full Access Administration to then open the file, create a unencrypted copy (after updating the ACL to make sure I could get in afterwards, and it could be easily placed into the active environment with the proper security still in place).
