Subject: Change location of workspace directory
Feedback Type: Question
Product Area: Notes Client
Technical Area: Customization
Platform: Windows
Release: 8.5.3
Reproducible: Always

Does anyone know how to specify the location of the workspace directory or what controls where the workspace directory is placed?

In the past we have installed single user Notes onto our PC's with the paths
c:\program files\lotus
and
c:\program files\lotus\notes\data

Each user has their own P: drive path for personal data which is allocated on login.

We change the Notes.ini to specify the data path to p:\.....\data

The users are then able to switch PC's and all is well..

Since moving to 8.5.3 there is the workspace directory which is defaulting to the c:\ drive path. Normally this is not a problem but if a user switches PC then their Sametime login settings are lost (i.e. authenticatin server, auto logon etc) because these are on the c drive.

Is there a setting somewhere that I can change that will point the workspace folder to the P drive path?
