Client certifiacte while synchronizing

Already found this Information, and thought that there are more people running into such a problem.

The proxy log looks like there is no client certificate with the HTTP OPTIONS request, and so the proxy doesn't forward the request to traveler.

I found another post regarding traveler companion doesn't support client certificates for authentication. Does this mean the iPhone supports client certificates while synchronizing? I'm not really sure at the moment. I'm using traveler 8.5.2.4HF1, iPhone 5.0.1.
