Subject: Implementing Single Sign On. Some Pointers Please.
Feedback Type: Question
Product Area: Notes Client
Technical Area: Accessibility
Platform: Windows
Release: 8.5.2
Reproducible: Always
Hi all,
I have recently upgraded our servers to 8.5.2.
40 clients are yet to be done but most users access databases through the browser.
I want to implement single sign on and be able to pull in windows username into author fields etc …. I currently use an ActiveX script to do this but users always get a security warning due to internal security policy we have.
My understanding is that there is a link between NAB & Active Directory … ? Is that correct .. ?
Also some DB’s have default access No Access and then groups for access, so the users are forced to logon with NAB credentials I have supplied.
Hopefully single Sign On will resolve this too.
I am going to do some research on this but if anyone can give me any pointers to get me started, then that would be great.
Many thanks
Andy
