heres the steps:

Ok so install notes onto a server, but choose "just me using it" so it installs to C:\blahblah\Lotus\Data\

You'll need to have an individual location per user, in our case we have an individual P:\ drive mapped as a share with a notes subfolder.

Copy the fresh Data folder to this location, e.g. P:\notesr85\

Then this is the important part - edit the notes.ini under P:\notesr85\data\notes.ini and add these lines:

Directory=p:\notesR85\data
WinNTIconPath=p:\notesr85\data\W32
SPELL_DIR=p:\notesR85\data
ViewerConfigFile=C:\Program Files (x86)\IBM\Lotus\Notes\Data\keyview.ini

Now for the last step, edit the desktop shortcut for Lotus notes and add this under target:

"C:\Program Files\IBM\Lotus\Notes\notes.exe" "=P:\\notesr85\data\notes.ini"

You should be able to now log more then one person into the server and all use it concurrently, as long as you have seperate data folders per user.
