I am using MQ 7.0.1 without problems on 8.5.2
Where do you get the error?
You need to deploy the required jars on the designer client to be able to compile the code, but also on the environment where the code needs to run (clients and or servers).
Also, if you put the jars in /lib/ext directory, there is no need to set them in the javauserclasses variable.
I would also suggest using the same version of designer as the Notes client/server version where the code needs to run to avoid JVM version differences.
Although, from a deployment point of view, it makes sense to attach the jars in the agent or java libraries, i advise against it, if you have many different agents setup this way. Have had troubles with (i suspect) the classloader not freeing the memory of the jars once the agent is finished. putting the jars in lib/ext stabilized matters.
