Subject: iNotes certiicate and always trust IBM as a publisher
Feedback Type: Question
Product Area: iNotes - Full mode
Technical Area: Install
Platform: Windows
Release: 8.5.3
Reproducible: Not applicable

Hi,

I have a question on IBM Lotus iNotes 8.5.3.

In IE8 when a user logs into their mail account and they are prompted to install the IBM iNotes Active X control 8.5.3 and to always trust IBM as a publisher, I want some way of obtaining a certificate for all users so that they won't be prompted to install the iNotes 8.5.3 Active X control (and future Active X controls from IBM).

So some way of always trusting the publisher IBM would be ideal.

Does anyone know how to get a certificate for IBM iNotes 8.5.3 Active X Control or always trust content from IBM?

We can add the mail server domain as a trusted site which gets around the issue but we want to avoid doing this and to reduce the number of trusted sites in IE.

Thanks,
Paul
