RE: Workflow of Traveler pushmail on iPhone 4

Apple is syncing the mail in two phases. The first makes it appear as if the mail is there, but it isn't really all there yet. This is described in the wiki:

as "Apple devices do not always download the entire mail message."

Depending on how many mails, how big, network connectivity to the mail server, etc., there might be some time between the truncated plain text of the mail and the full MIME text version getting to the device. If there are particular instances that you still feel aren't explained by this explanation, then you need to open up a PMR so that we can get logs for these cases and analyze where the time is being spent.
