Hello all,

Please kindly assist. We setup server based archiving on our Domino server to archive documents not modified in the last 2 years.

The Archive Settings and the Archive Criteria settings were properly configured. We equally setup a program document to run the compact task with -a option.

However, the archive is not working. I have gone through the settings severally to be sure we did the right thing, but it's still not working. As a matter of fact, the archive setup is pretty simple so i can't really say where I'm missing it.

Here are a few questions I want to ask:

1) Do I have to apply the settings to each person for it to work? If yes how do I go about it?

2) Do I need to create an archive policy for archiving to work?

3) Is there any command to run to start the archive process?
