Traveler client on HTC Touch

I also have a Touch which works fine. Most likely the problem here is that the traffic from port 8642 is being blocked allong the way. This often can be a result of the device carrier settings for data. Some carriers have different access points that allow different levels of access. For example we had a report of many people on T-Mobile who suddenly stopped syncing. T-Mobile had made a change to one particular access point and those users had to switch to a different access point that was more open. One way to test this is to try syncing when connected to your laptop via ActiveSync instead of through a carrier.

Some other culprits for blocking the 8642 traffic is company firewall or proxy server. Although I would think it is device related if you can not sync with Greenhouse.
