The actual total length of String storage* in lotusscript is 2GB - I suspect therefore that you have other strings in your code, the total length of which exceeds that

You are right that this is bad code, I think you are going to have to change it, to write out each line, rather than amalgamating them into one and writing that - this should be a minor change

* String storage is 'special' because it grows and shrinks as needed, because strings are of utterly variable length, so it needs to be at the very 'end' of programme memory to avoid overwriting code
