Reproducible: Always

Good Afternoon all

Just wanting to know if anyone have any guides on upgrading from 8.5.1 to 8.5.2 via smart upgrade.

I original set up the smartupgrade database / service and have been using it without problem to push out fix pack 1,2,3 and 4 without issue.

However when following the same setup i would normally take for a fix pack i encounter issues when using it for 8.5.2 upgrade.

I have tried using Lotus_notes852Upgrade_Win_EN
as well as the full install lotus_notes852_win_en.

I normally just extract the files to a location and then run surunas and re package the files.
importing the following

deploy folder
Lotus Notes 8.5.2.msi
setup.exe
updatesite.zip

and choosing the setup.exe as the mail file launched.

i use the following parrameters

/S /v"/qb+"

have also tried with

/s /v"ALLUSERS=1 TRANSFORMS=LotusNotes851.mst /qb+!"

normally works for me for fix packs.

When i add it to the server and try to get the client to intall it it downloads fine to the client but then says installing then closes by itself and notes loads and the version is still 8.5.1

or it throws random erros. ive tried so many combinations of things and always with different errors. I know that does not help

Never updated to a full new release.
What am i doing wrong?

Any help will be greatly appreciated

does any one have a good guide i can follow?
