Possible answer from IBM site

I just found this technote that states Domino COM classes are 32-bit only and will fail if recompiled as 64-bit for Windows 7 x64. https://www-304.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?uid=swg21454291

This technote is a year old now so it's possible that things have changed since then. I am able to change my platform target to x64 and comile and run on Win7 x64 when using Office 32 bit version. Just NOT the 64 bit version of Office.
