ODBC conection issue running 64bit Domino 8.5.2 on 64bit Win2008. The scheduled agent uses "*LSXODBC" to connect to a ODBC SYSTEM DSN. The DSN was created with the 32bit version of the ODBC-Admin (C:\WINDOWS\SysWOW64\odbcad32.exe), because the text driver only exists in 32bit.
The agent runs without any problems on a 32bit machine. I cannot connect to the SYSTEM DSN on a 64bit installation. The error message: "ODBC could not complete the requested operation" when performing the con.ConnectTo("myConnection") call.
There was a response in the above persons issue mentioning migrating to JDBC. I am unable to find any documentation about using JDBC with delimited text files as a data source. Domino is the only software loaded on the server. There will never be SQL, DB2, MSFT Office and doubt that JDBC will be approved by the powers that be. Besides the txt driver has been working great in 32bit Domino for many years.
Any ideas?
