i'm little bit confused. At the moment we move our notes users from version 7.02 to 8.5.2.
For that we enabled roaming feature in 7 to push the user specific information to our dominoserver.
After that we deinstalled notes 7 and installe multi users 8.5.2.
No we put a config file containing the username and the dominoserver in users home share.
And now we got 2 problem which are not still reproducible.
First the user gets normal configuration tab but the config should use the config file in the usershare.
My solution at the moment is to delete the Lotus\Notes\Data directory from the userprofile c:\Documents and Settings\Username\Local Settings\Application Data
After the user log in once again it works without the config dialog.
And second problem is that sometimes after the client is configured and user starts it he got the message "notes is unable to create a local replica of your personal names.nsf database from your roaming server [server name]. Would you like to create a new copy of this database? If you select 'No', Notes will exit." but not with names.nsf. The message tell that the localfeedcontent.nsf could not be created.
