We've got a simple database, where we can attach files in very simple notes documents. No special events have been customized.

When attaching a normal file (i.e. .doc .xls .pdf) the document is being saved properly.

When attaching a password protected PDF file the notes document is being deleted on saving the document.

We could reproduce this behaviour with following combinations:

Notes Client 6.x, 7.x, 8.x accessing a Domino 8.5.1 FP2 server.

If you think this isn't slant enough:
When attaching a password protected PDF-File to a design element, this design element also vanishes on saving.

Are there any other people having the same issue?
