Flushed dns cache again

Running out of ideas, I started retrying everything I had tried previously. This time, after flushing the dns cache again, the server now tries all MX relays listed for X.com, and they all fail with the same ssl handshake error. This now leads me to believe that rather being a problem with seluimxhigh.X.com, it's a problem with all of their servers, possibly that their certs are all self signed. I disabled SSL for outgoing smtp on my server and it successfully sent to X.com.

Does anyone have any alternative ideas?
