I have installed the WebSpere plugin on a Win 2008 R2 Standard server running MS IIS 7.

The installation and setup has been performed according to the instructions found in the Admin Guide and other available documentation.

Whenever I start the IIS server it returns an error:

HTTP Error 500.0 - Internal Server Error
Calling GetFilterVersion on ISAPI filter
"C:\WebSphere\AppServer\bin\iisWASPlugin_http.dll" failed.

I have found a number of entries on the web describing the same error but up until now no entry with a suitable solution to my problem.

Does anybody have a good idea?
