Subject: "No Disk" error message
Feedback Type: Problem
Product Area: Notes Client
Technical Area: Error Message
Platform: Windows
Release: 8.5.3
Reproducible: Always

Hi,

I have a fairly new installation of Notes. I started on 8.5.2 and began getting this error message. The window title is 'ndyncfg.exe - No Disk' and the message is 'There is no disk in the drive. Please insert a disk into drive \Device\Harddisk1\DR1.'

This pops up when I start Notes, then at random intervals and whenever I close a document in an address book. I have to fire up task manager, kill ndyncfg.exe, then hit Cancel on the error message otherwise it just keeps popping up.

Sometimes the error is thrown by nlnotes.exe in which case just hitting cancel a few times will get rid of it.

I tried installing the update to 8.5.3, and also FP1 for 8.5.3 but this hasn't helped.

Any ideas short of completely uninstalling and reinstalling?

Thanks,
Emily
