Subject: Migration from Lotus Notes 8.5 (Windows7) to 8.5.3 (Fedora 17)
Feedback Type: Problem
Product Area: Notes Client
Technical Area: Install
Platform: Linux client - RHEL
Release: 8.5.3
Reproducible: Always

I installed Lotus Notes 8.5.3 on a Linux machine (fedora 17), and copied my previous settings from my old Windows7 machine (which has Notes 8.5).
I copied C://lotus/notes/data directory to /opt/ibm/lotus/notes/data.
Since then, Sametime is working fine but other applications are not working. They don't start. When I clicked on any application button (such as Mail, Calender, etc), I get a message "File does not exist".
I removed /opt/ibm/lotus/notes/data directory and re-installed the following two RPM packages but the same issue keeps happening.
ibm-lotus-notes-8.5.3
ibm-notes-config-8.5.3
My last option should be clean re-installation of all notes packages but I am wondering if someone has any idea how to fix this...
Thank you
eiichi
