With Kubuntu 32-Bit and Notes 8.5.1 I had few difficulties getting the client working properly once all the various tips here and elsewhere had been gone through. I wiped my system to install the 64-bit Kubuntu and, for the life of me, have not been able to install Notes 8.5.1 even after following the detailed 64-bit instructions. For some reason, 4 +/- of the 32-bit libraries that 8.5.1 depends on can't seem to be detected by the installation routine for the client. I try reinstalling those libraries again. They seem to install OK and the same error message pops up. Owing to all the problems noted here and elsewhere, I hope IBM is going to rework the DEB for this and get us some relief.
