Using e-mail address as the login.

I register users and put their E-mail address in the 'LastName' field and also the 'UserName' field.

I hacked the ($ServerAccess) view to enable the users to login with their e-mail address. Works fine but users who are in groups in a secondary address book, it doesn't pick up their userroles. Which is essential to restrict access to sections of the site.

Looks like a massive bug in this version. Who logs into a site using anything other than an e-mail address these days? This should be basic functionality.

Anyone got a solution?

Version : 8.5.1 on Windows
