Subject: Lotus Notes API for C# application on XP and Win 7
Feedback Type: Question
Product Area: Other
Technical Area: Accessibility
Platform: Windows
Release: 8.5
Reproducible: Not applicable

Dear all,
We have an existing C# application that uses Lotus Notes databases / views to get and store information. We use 2 DLL's as interface. These are old DLL's and I don't know who wrote those DLL's.
We recently upgraded to LN 8.5.1 and in the process of upgrading from XP to Win 7. The migration of the windows platform will take a few years.
We notice that our application has become much more unstable when accessing Lotus Notes (causes even Lotus Notes application to crash).

Now I have the task to find / make a new interface between Lotus Notes and our C# application.
I found on the develoepr network some C or C++ interface API's but I'm not sure which to use.
Which is the best interface for:
- LN 8.5
- Win XP + Win 7 (64 bit)
- C#
- from LN we access databses + views

Thank you in advance,
Marc
