Subject: iNotes not re-authenticating when opened
Feedback Type: Problem
Product Area: iNotes - Full mode
Technical Area: Security
Platform: Windows
Release: 8.5.1
Reproducible: Always

When a user opens iNotes for the first time they must authenticate - thereafter as soon as they browse to that URL they are stright into their mail file without a username/password request. The logout button is always clicked at the end of the session and Notes is allowed to close the browser window (or tab).

There seems to be no session timeout associated with this (the user can leave it days before accessing iNotes and still access it without being challenged)

Domino Server is 8.5 FP1
Host is Server 2008 R2 (also running IIS 7)
The http and SSL (https) ports are not the standard ones (as IIS uses them)
Browser is IE9 64bit

I have the same type of configuration on Domino 7x sitting on an old W2K box and it works flawlessly

Any ideas where to start looking?

Thanks
